2. Find or Start a Group Escooter Ride

Or just get a group of friends together who you know already ride – and remember that most scooters and e-bikes can comfortably keep pace, so you can include cyclists as well. Group rides are an excellent way to explore your city or town.
3. Know Your Lighting Conditions
Sure, you check the weather before you leave the house, but do you check the lighting conditions? This is an important safety consideration. You should know whether you need sun protection and/or sunglasses. You need to bring additional lighting and wear reflective clothing if there’s a chance you might be out after sunset.
You’ll also be able to time your arrival at specific spots during the best times of the day: as the sun just begins to rise or set, for example, when you’ll grab the perfect view and capture the moment, if you’re a photographer, or think of yourself as one, anyway. 5. Expand Your Territory
Ride through neighborhoods you’ve never visited, maybe even some not so great ones! (in broad daylight) Go to outskirts and suburbs you’ve never seen. You will find hidden gems that won’t come to you.
You will need a longer range scooter to do this kind of urban/suburban exploring, and a scooter with enough acceleration and speed to keep up in low-speed traffic. Also, you’ll need to be a more experienced rider before you’ll feel comfortable venturing out beyond your comfort zone.
