Preview the 2025 Apollo Phantom 2.0 at CES
Long in development, the 2025 Apollo Phantom 2.0 takes all of the Canadian electric scooter company’s best ideas so far and combines them into a premium performance scooter like no other we’ve seen.
Well, that’s not strictly true. We have seen these features – the 360-degree lighting profile, phone-as-display option, proprietary controllers, etc. – on their flagship Apollo Pro and dual-motor entry level Apollo Go, two scooters that have earned equally high marks for both high-tech style and substance.
In the short clip above, Chris Rey, Apollo co-founder, gives us a walkthrough of the new Apollo Phantom 2.0 and the 2025 Apollo Pro and Go. If they all look similar, that’s for good reason – the latter two scooters have carried the company’s new design principles forward for the last couple of years now, and the Phantom brings their current innovations full circle.
The original 2021 Apollo Phantom (V1) was the company’s first fully-original design, rather than a rebrand or upgrade of an OEM scooter. The Phantom launched Apollo as a brand to watch and set the bar for sports performance scooters with the first center-mounted display and other features that have since become standard.
Will we see another design evolution as manufacturers try to keep up with Apollo’s premium in-house ingenuity? Entirely possible. In any case, we can say with some confidence that the 2025 Apollo Phantom 2.0 will probably be another game-changer for the company, either as a leader of new design trends or as a maverick design all its own.
