  • Apollo claims ~37 miles, but under a heavier rider in a hilly course, we got 21.6 miles total (with lights and full system running).
  • That’s still respectable — in lighter or flatter use, you might see 10%+ gains.
  • Turning off lights and optimizing use will help squeeze more miles.

One interesting note: the Explore 2.0 outlasted the Apollo Go in their tests, and even edged out the Segway G3 Max by nearly 5 miles in similar conditions.

Ride Comfort & Handling

  • Despite its relatively compact frame, it handled bumps, potholes, and uneven surfaces well. The suspension setup was a big part of that.
  • The frame felt solid with minimal wobble. The stem clamp and extra safety latch reinforced confidence.
  • Deck space was sufficient (even for larger feet), and riding over longer periods remained comfortable.

Finally, when battery was low (~10%), top speed dipped (around 20 mph), which is expected. But the performance remained usable until the end.
