We Checked the Code Before Telling You About It

Half the Ausom coupon codes floating around online expired months ago. So we put the scooter in the cart ourselves.

On August 17, 2026, the Ausom L2 Max Dual Motor was listed at $949. Entering ESGSP25 knocked off $150 and the total landed at $799.

What makes it unusual is that the price is not public. Ausom gave this tier to Electric Scooter Guide and RiderGuide. The other collaborating YouTube channels and media outlets covering the brand did not get it.

The limit is 25 orders. After those, ESGSP takes $130 off and the scooter comes to $819. Try ESGSP25 first, and if checkout rejects it you know the 25 are gone.

This Is a Lot of Scooter for $799

We have already tested the L2 Max Dual Motor, so we know what that $799 is actually buying. The long version is in our Ausom L2 Max review.

The scooter runs dual 1,000W motors, and we measured around 40 to 41 mph on flat ground.

It also accelerated from:

• 0 to 10 mph in 1.9 seconds
• 0 to 20 mph in 4.2 seconds
• 0 to 30 mph in 8.3 seconds

That kind of performance is what makes the exclusive price interesting.

Around $800 there are plenty of good commuter scooters. There are far fewer that genuinely run near 40 mph and reach 30 mph in just over eight seconds, which is why it keeps showing up in our best electric scooters under $1,000 list.

Fast Without Feeling Cheap or Sketchy

Cheap fast scooters usually claw the money back somewhere in the chassis. This one holds together.

It uses adjustable spring suspension front and rear, and we found the ride comfortable and stable even near 40 mph.

The deck is about 21 inches long, extending to roughly 27 inches with the kicktail, and the handlebars measure about 27 inches wide.

From 15 mph we measured an average braking distance of 11.5 feet, another solid result.

20 Miles in Our Hard Range Test

We ran the L2 Max through our range test with a roughly 190 to 200-pound rider including gear.

We rode it aggressively, used its speed, and still got 20 miles before the battery reached zero.

In practice, that means the L2 Max works as a commuter as well as a speed machine. Twenty hard miles leaves enough headroom for most daily rides.

What We Did Not Love

The headlight is bright but mounted low. Faster nighttime riding wants an extra handlebar light.

The turn signals are mainly useful from behind, and the battery gauge can sag dramatically when you are pulling hard on the motors before recovering afterward.

Those are worth knowing about, but at this price they are not deal-breakers.
